Built for Mernda

Local considerations we plan for.

  • Home styles: 2010s+ estate homes and townhouses dominate the streetscape — informs substrate choice and layout options.
  • Preferred finishes: local requests skew toward large-format porcelain and kit-kat mosaic feature walls.
  • Site logistics: In newer Mernda homes we routinely find shower bases installed as pre-formed acrylic under the tile — a permanent fix means rebuilding as a proper screeded, membrane-lined shower base.

Frequently asked.

Do you cover our part of Mernda?

Yes. We service all of Mernda (3754) and the surrounding suburbs — Doreen, South Morang, Whittlesea, Wollert. Free on-site measure across the entire area.

Which bathroom design style suits Mernda homes best?

Given the local mix of 2010s+ estate homes and townhouses, we most often recommend large-format porcelain, paired with full rebuild of failed shower. Every recommendation is confirmed against your specific floor plan during the design session.

Is the design charge separate from the build?

No. Design is included in every fixed-price contract we sign. Standalone design-only engagements are quoted per project.

Can we take your drawings to another builder?

The drawings are your property once the design fee is paid. In practice, our clients almost always keep the design and build under one contract because it eliminates blame-shifting.
